Paul D. Keen – Non Executive Director

Paul Keen

Before co-founding Couponstar, Paul has owned and managed a variety of established and new business ventures. In 1975, Paul joined TNT Bulkships Limited rising to the position of General Manager in 1983. In 1985, Paul was appointed Executive Director of Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services, a business 50% owned by TNT where he worked closely with Sir Peter Abeles developing the company into the world's third largest operating lessor of new commercial aircraft.

In 1993, Sir Peter Abeles and Paul established ABAKUS Aircraft and Aviation Specialists of which Paul is currently the Managing Director. Paul is also the Director of Abakus Elmotech, a company providing electronic monitoring technologies to the corrective services and public health industries. Paul graduated from UNSW with both a B.Science and an MBA.

Steven Boal – Non Executive Director (CEO Coupons, Inc.)

Steven Boal

A former Wall Street and technology executive, Steven Boal founded Coupons, Inc. in 1998 & is responsible for it's strategic and operational direction. Mr. Boal previously served as VP of Business Development for Integral Development Corporation, a privately held Silicon Valley financial software company whose investors include Accel Partners. Prior to that, Mr. Boal was vice president and head of Global Emerging Markets Derivative Technology at J.P. Morgan.

Before that, he was president of OptEdge, Chicago-based real-time options, analytics and risk management business. Mr. Boal also held various management positions at TriStar Market Data, most recently running the division of Montgomery Securities. He holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.

Jared J. Keen – Managing Director

Jared J. Keen

Before co-founding Couponstar, Jared was exposed to an array of different roles in various industries. Jared attained significant training and experience in the areas of project management, systems development, market and competitor analysis as well as change management. In 2000, Jared was the Intranet PM at HCF. In 1999, Jared worked as the sales & marketing technical analyst for British American Tobacco conducting a diagnostic of the sales & marketing processes & IT systems of the newly merged company.

In 1998, he acted as the Quality Management System Developer at Volvo where he initiated and managed the project to develop, document and implement an ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System within the Information Services Department. Jared holds a B.Commerce from UNSW with majors in information systems and management and marketing.

Oliver Felstead - European General Manager

Oliver Felstead

Oliver joined Couponstar in 2005 with the task of further developing Couponstar’s presence in the UK. Prior to life growing the online-printable coupon industry and delivering great results for clients, Oliver held a variety of senior positions within the Banking & FMCG sectors. Oliver’s career began as a graduate trainee with Citibank where over 4.5 years he held roles within online banking & services, marketing and corporate relationship management.

During this time he helped develop Citibank’s online banking services and launched a new first-to-market online account aggregation service. In 2004, he joined L’Oreal to manage the development of their Graduate & Intern recruitment programme. Oliver holds BSc (hons) Business Administration from Aston University.

Ernest Semerda

If John West & Steve Wozniak were to have a kid one day, he would be a lot like our tuna-loving, technical guru Ernest.

Where were you born?
I was born in a land of pole-vaulters. Well, nearly - I was born in Poland.

What are you passionate about?
There's not enough room in this email column for everything I'm passionate about, but if I had to trim it down I'd list: electronic music, photography, technical gadgets & photography & oh yes did I mention photography?

What are your favourite hobbies/pastimes?
Um, growing bad facial hair, mucking around with different camera lenses, trying to squizz more juice out of my car & raving about my recent Egypt trip.

What is your favourite album/film/book?
Film: Why, Matrix of course!
Book: 'Think & Grow Rich' - Napoleon Hill
Album: Anything housy will do

Who would you most like to meet?
Milla Jovovich. But I'm not fussy so you choose.

Best thing about working at Couponstar?
Getting hit in the back of my head by promotional soft toys, when I am about to corner the meaning of life. We have a great bunch of people here from all walks of life.
