How does the Publisher Network Program work?
Offer your site visitors a free printable coupon section with Couponstar's Coupon Portal and Concordance™ services, create additional ad inventory, increase traffic, and earn revenue!
Our Concordance™ content matching system integrates the consumer coupon portal with your entire site. Concordance™ is an exciting new contextual advertising service. By placing a simple Javascript-enabled ad unit on your web pages, you can provide relevant coupon offers to your visitors, and increase traffic to your consumer Coupon Portal publisher site. Concordance™ reads the text on your web page and finds keywords that match available offers in the Couponstar's system. These contextually relevant offers can be displayed in a standard ad unit, or the matching keywords can be highlighted and the relevant offers for that keyword will be displayed in a small window when the consumer mouses over the word. See example in a screen shot below.

Who can participate?
We accept low to high volume websites focused primarily on shopping, savings, food, and female interest. We accept UK traffic sites only. Sites with Adult content will not be accepted.

How much will I earn? How and when do I get paid?
You earn a commission on each and every coupon printed and survey completed in your Coupon Center. You earn the following percentage of Net Revenue based on your monthly Qualified Print Volume:

“Net Revenue” means the actual amounts we are paid for qualified prints, survey responses, or video coupon premiums, less 30% network management, hosting, and overhead, less fees paid to third parties for that program. “Qualified Print Volume” means the number of coupons printed that meet the terms specified in our agreement with our Advertiser.
If you earned a minimum of £100 during the preceding calendar month, a cheque will be mailed or electronic payment will be made. In the event that the £100 monthly minimum was not reached, the existing balance will be held until the end of a calendar month where the total payment meets the £100 minimum monthly payment requirement.

Can my coupon portal be customised with the look and feel of my site?
Yes! We will give you the option to provide your sites html code. This code may include any combination of the following:
A header: Under 250 pixels in height.
A left nav bar: Under 200 pixels wide.
A footer: No size restriction.
The center and right side of the screen are reserved for the coupon interface content. You will need to use full paths in link, script, and image source URLs when providing us with your code. There is no cost for the initial customisation, but any additional edits, updates or changes may incur a fee.

I operate more than one web site. Can I still be an Publisher?
Yes! You can have multiple sites as a Publisher. You can have one Publisher account with us that will include all of your sites. You can track each site's stats individually through reporting and you will receive one commission payement for all sites.

Where do I get the Banners and links to put on my site or in my emails?
Once you've completed the Publisher Application Form and your site has been reviewed and approved, we will send you a Welcome email containing the link, code, banners, and instructions for your coupon portal.

Where should I place the links on my site?
For best performance, we suggest adding a "Printable Coupons" text link and/or tab, in addition to placing Concordance™ tags to all of your pages. We recommend that you advertise your new free money-saving service in your mailings, newsletters, blogs, forums, etc.

Can I earn a commission by referring others to your Publisher Network?
Yes! You can earn additional revenue by referring people to our Publisher Network. When each person you refer earns his or her first £100 in commissions, we will pay you £100 for the referral. For tracking purposes we will provide you with an uniquely coded URL to use when referring others to the program.

How do I check my stats?
We provide daily online reporting on all coupon prints generated by your account. Additionally, a monthly summary statement is included for accounts generating commissions over £100.
